The MA-2.2 represents the pinnacle of the Buzz Audio Class A technology and provides ultra clean (but not clinical sounding) amplification from all microphone types. Due to it`s near perfect retrieval of transient information, the MA-2.2 is considered by many to be an excellent preamplifier for recording acoustic guitar. The MA-2.2 is extremely musical in character and is ideal for recording all acoustic sources where a non-coloured sound is desired - voice, drums, percussion, piano, orchestras and choirs.
The MA-2.2 has been designed by active recording engineers to provide the cleanest possible interface between microphones and recording channels. By utilising our own True Class A amplifier modules (the BE40), attention to power supply design and a resistor loaded C-Coupled input topology, this preamplifier exhibits sonic qualities unique in it`s class.
The MA-2.2`s ultra low noise and noise spectra provides the best possible dynamic range for digital recordings. The high speed and wide frequency response ensures distortionless reproduction of transients and excellent high frequency phase response - even at high gain. Users can expect a clean, uncluttered midrange coupled with superb treble clarity and extended tight bass response.
This version of the MA-2.2 is supplied with high spec Lundahl output transformers. The direct unbalanced output is still available on the rear panel via a 1/4" jack socket.

UK Non Mainland – Not eligible for free shipping. These areas include (but are not limited to) Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Isles of Scilly, Jersey, Guernsey, Northern Ireland, Orkney, Scottish Highlands and Shetland. Shipping costs for these ares will be calculated at checkout.
International/Export – Delivery charges will be calculated at checkout. All orders that are in stock we aim to dispatch from our warehouse within 48 hours. We ship all orders outside of the UK, NI, Isle of Man, Channel Islands via Fedex. All prices and delivery charges are exclusive of VAT for export. The customer is responsible to pay for any additional duties and charges.
