Loudspeaker / Room Optimiser
NOVA’s main feature is Trinnov’s exclusive room correction and acoustic optimisation technology, acclaimed by the most renowned sound engineers and music producers around the world. NOVA can process and optimize up to 6 speakers, including bass management.
Monitor ControllerNova is not just a digital acoustic processor, it’s also a comprehensive monitor controller with no limitations in mind. Seamlessly switch between analogue and digital sources and multiple speaker sets, regardless of their format or connection. You can also create your own downmix profiles to check the phase and mono compatibility of your mixes.
Audio Interface
With fully integrated DANTE audio over IP i/o, NOVA can be your audio interface for direct DAW- to-monitoring integration with 8 inputs and 8 outputs to and from your DAW.
High Quality I/O
NOVA comes with a comprehensive set of I/O to connect all your equipment in analogue, digital, or even Dante. Trinnov’s latest DAC and ADC deliver crisp signals to your monitors and integrated headphone output.
Upgradable from to 2 to 6 channels
NOVA is Upgradable allowing you to increase the optimised outputs from the base model of 2 channels up to 4 or 6 channels with a simple licensing system. In order to proceed just get in touch to purchase an additional license through a simple software update.
Development
NOVA differs from the previous Trinnov products as its PC-less. Trinnov’s new Audio Core utilises an ARM processor that provides the computational power necessary for full Trinnov processing of a limited number of channels, without the need of an additional CPU so its “FANLESS” One of the most critical developments was the redesign of the Trinnov Audio Core, the main audio product component. The TAC2 is five times smaller than the previous one, and yet comes with added features and better performance.
Easily Integratable
As a DANTE device, connect NOVA easily within your audio network with low latency (down to 250 microseconds).
Being Avid EUCON compliant, NOVA allows for advanced monitor control and can easily be integrated with you control surface. It can be set up either as a full monitor controller with multiple speaker sets, source selection and summation, or, as a discreet embedded audio insert processing toolbox in the loudspeaker path. NOVA can be everything you require in a 1U box.
User interface
Nova has a totally new user interface and there are both Windows and Mac apps to operate it. Calibrations can be made using a step by step wizard enabling users to easily get successful setups. There is also a more in depth advanced mode for you to get into the finer details.
Trinnov Audio have produced a mac App that can control the NOVA wirelessly with your phone, provided they are on the same network. Take control of your processor’s main features, volume, dim, mute, source and preset selection.
La Remote (Not Inluded)
NOVA offers full compatibility of Trinnov’s optional hardware desktop monitors controller ‘’La Remote’’. Through an easy drag ‘n’ drop web interface, personalise ‘’La Remote’’ to your workflow, and adjust the functions and labels of its seven buttons to suit your environment! Take control of every function of NOVA at the press of a button.
New 3D Microphone
The measurement microphone has been improved with your needs in mind; simplicity and reliability. Now equipped with phantom power (no more batteries required) and integrated memory, a further streamlined calibration process is provided, removing the need to manually import the microphone compensation file. Additionally, it then connects to a dedicated etherCON port on the front panel of NOVA and can be used with any CAT6 network cable.
Bass Management
Subwoofer integration is a common challenge in studios. Yet, integrating subwoofers seamlessly still brings multiple benefits to all mixers and sound designers. NOVA handles this daunting task easily either over single or dual subwoofer configurations and lets you even share the same subwoofers across multiple monitor sets in an instant.
