Introducing the Series 80B-500EQ: Your Path to Perfect Sound

Experience the timeless charm of the Series 80B 500 Series EQ, inspired by the legendary Trident Series 80 console. This classic four-band equalizer offers premium audio control, featuring switchable high and low pass shelving sections, along with two versatile swept low and high mid-range bands and a 50Hz, 12dB per octave filter.

Getting Started is Simple:
• Set all boost/cut controls to mid-way (‘0’).
• Adjust low and high mid frequency sweep controls to their minimum positions.
• Keep the 50Hz filter switch off.
• Tune the high and low shelving frequencies to 120Hz and 12kHz respectively.
• Switch on the EQ for illumination.

Crafting Your Sound:
• Clockwise rotation of the high-frequency shelving control emphasizes highs.
• Counter-clockwise rotation attenuates highs from center.
• Engage the high-frequency section`s `frequency select` switch for subtle emphasis change.
• Low-frequency shelving control clockwise boosts lows, counter-clockwise attenuates from center.
• Activate the low section`s `frequency select` switch for subtle low-frequency emphasis shift.

Precision Equalization:
• Adjust the `low mid` and `high mid` peaking filters with boost/cut and frequency sweep knobs.
• Clockwise for boost, counter-clockwise to cut.
• `Low mid` spans 100Hz to 1.5kHz.
• `High mid` covers 1kHz to 15kHz.

Rumble-Free Zone:
• Activate the `Filter` switch for a smooth 50Hz, 12dB/octave roll-off to eliminate unwanted rumble.
• Boost or cut depends on content—experiment for best results.

UK Mainland – Orders over £99 qualify for FREE standard shipping (1-3 working days) We also offer a range of chargeable express shipping options for next working day, pre 12pm, pre 10.30am, Saturday deliveries and deliveries on a specific date. Our main UK courier is DPD.

UK Non Mainland – Not eligible for free shipping. These areas include (but are not limited to) Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Isles of Scilly, Jersey, Guernsey, Northern Ireland, Orkney, Scottish Highlands and Shetland. Shipping costs for these ares will be calculated at checkout.

International/Export – Delivery charges will be calculated at checkout. All orders that are in stock we aim to dispatch from our warehouse within 48 hours. We ship all orders outside of the UK, NI, Isle of Man, Channel Islands via Fedex. All prices and delivery charges are exclusive of VAT for export. The customer is responsible to pay for any additional duties and charges.
