The HEDDphone D1 is a premium open-back over-ear headphone designed for engineers, producers, audiophiles and critical listeners who need a natural, revealing and highly balanced listening experience. Built around HEDD’s advanced Thin-Ply Carbon Diaphragm technology, the D1 delivers the speed, precision and tonal accuracy expected from a true reference headphone, while retaining the familiar feel and drive characteristics of a dynamic design.

At the heart of the HEDDphone D1 is a custom dynamic driver using a Thin-Ply Carbon Diaphragm, developed to control resonances at the structural level. This allows the diaphragm to respond with excellent speed and stability, helping the D1 reproduce transients cleanly while keeping the overall presentation smooth, detailed and fatigue-free. The result is a headphone that feels immediate and precise, with the kind of balance that makes it equally useful for studio work, mastering decisions, detailed editing, high-resolution listening and long creative sessions.

The open-back circumaural design provides a spacious and natural soundstage, making the D1 a strong choice for listeners who want a more speaker-like sense of openness from a headphone system. Its 32Ω impedance and 100dB sensitivity make it broadly compatible with a wide range of sources, from professional headphone amplifiers and interfaces through to higher-end listening systems, while still allowing the performance to scale with better amplification.

Comfort has also been carefully considered. At 350g, the HEDDphone D1 is built for extended use, with perforated velour ear pads and a refined ergonomic design that supports long listening sessions without unnecessary fatigue. The detachable textile-covered 2m cable, dual 3.5mm headphone inputs, 6.35mm adapter and custom carry case make it a practical and complete solution for both studio and personal listening environments.

UK Mainland – Orders over £99 qualify for FREE standard shipping (1-3 working days) We also offer a range of chargeable express shipping options for next working day, pre 12pm, pre 10.30am, Saturday deliveries and deliveries on a specific date. Our main UK courier is DPD.

UK Non Mainland – Not eligible for free shipping. These areas include (but are not limited to) Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Isles of Scilly, Jersey, Guernsey, Northern Ireland, Orkney, Scottish Highlands and Shetland. Shipping costs for these ares will be calculated at checkout.

International/Export – Delivery charges will be calculated at checkout. All orders that are in stock we aim to dispatch from our warehouse within 48 hours. We ship all orders outside of the UK, NI, Isle of Man, Channel Islands via Fedex. All prices and delivery charges are exclusive of VAT for export. The customer is responsible to pay for any additional duties and charges.
