Meet the WesAudio NG78: a next-generation, stereo FET compressor that captures the punch, speed and attitude engineers love about the classic 1178 lineage, then adds WesAudio’s hallmark “Analog Sound, Digital Recall.” It’s 100% analog inside—with the snappy FET grab that makes drums leap forward, vocals sit confidently, and guitars lock into the pocket—yet it behaves like a modern tool in your DAW, recalling exact hardware settings in an instant.

The NG78 is purpose-built for stereo work. Dual large VU meters give clear, at-a-glance gain-reduction feedback for left and right channels, and the front-panel control set is everything you expect from a great FET: continuously variable Input and Output, dedicated Attack and Release, classic Ratio selection, and a Mix control for effortless parallel compression. A selectable sidechain high-pass filter keeps low-end energy from driving the detector, so your kick and sub don’t pump the whole track. When you want extra attitude, NG78’s dedicated Saturation/THD functions let you dial in harmonics from subtle edge to obvious bite—ideal for bringing sterile sources to life or adding cohesive grit across a bus.

Because it’s part of the WesAudio “ng” ecosystem, NG78 integrates directly with your session via plug-in control. Save and recall complete hardware states with your project, switch between stored memories on the front panel, A/B settings in seconds, and automate parameters just like a plug-in—while all the sonic work happens in the analog domain. That workflow makes NG78 as comfortable on a fast-moving mix or recall-heavy post session as it is in a classic, hands-on tracking chain.

UK Mainland – Orders over £99 qualify for FREE standard shipping (1-3 working days) We also offer a range of chargeable express shipping options for next working day, pre 12pm, pre 10.30am, Saturday deliveries and deliveries on a specific date. Our main UK courier is DPD.

UK Non Mainland – Not eligible for free shipping. These areas include (but are not limited to) Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Isles of Scilly, Jersey, Guernsey, Northern Ireland, Orkney, Scottish Highlands and Shetland. Shipping costs for these ares will be calculated at checkout.

International/Export – Delivery charges will be calculated at checkout. All orders that are in stock we aim to dispatch from our warehouse within 48 hours. We ship all orders outside of the UK, NI, Isle of Man, Channel Islands via Fedex. All prices and delivery charges are exclusive of VAT for export. The customer is responsible to pay for any additional duties and charges.
