The UMD192 from Solid State Logic is a powerful, portable digital audio interface designed for professional live sound, broadcast, post-production, and high-channel-count studio environments. Combining USB, MADI, and Dante connectivity in a compact half-rack unit, UMD192 delivers exceptional flexibility, reliability, and performance wherever complex audio workflows demand uncompromising results.

At its core, UMD192 provides up to 192 channels of bidirectional audio at 44.1–96 kHz, or 128 channels at 176.4–192 kHz, making it one of the most capable format-bridging interfaces available. It allows seamless audio routing between any two formats—USB, MADI, or Dante—while simultaneously providing a split feed to the third. This makes it equally at home as a high-channel-count USB recording interface, a MADI-to-Dante bridge, or a central hub in hybrid systems.

UMD192’s Dante implementation is fully interoperable and future-ready, supporting AES67 and ST 2110 (with Dante Domain Manager), with ultra-low latency operation down to 0.25 ms. Flexible clocking options allow synchronisation from either Dante or MADI across the full 44.1–192 kHz sample-rate range. Six MADI BNC pairs can be configured for redundancy, enabling up to three dual-redundant MADI connections—ideal for mission-critical broadcast and live sound workflows.

Despite its immense capability, UMD192 remains highly practical in real-world use. Clear front-panel indicators provide instant feedback on signal flow, sync status, power, and network connectivity, while a lockable control system prevents accidental changes during operation. Power flexibility is equally robust, with support for AC mains, Power over Ethernet, and USB—allowing engineers to build in redundancy or adapt quickly to different deployment scenarios.

Whether paired with large-format consoles, high-channel-count DAW systems, or networked audio infrastructures, UMD192 delivers a streamlined, professional solution that bridges formats effortlessly and keeps workflows efficient, stable, and future-proof.

UK Mainland – Orders over £99 qualify for FREE standard shipping (1-3 working days) We also offer a range of chargeable express shipping options for next working day, pre 12pm, pre 10.30am, Saturday deliveries and deliveries on a specific date. Our main UK courier is DPD.

UK Non Mainland – Not eligible for free shipping. These areas include (but are not limited to) Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Isles of Scilly, Jersey, Guernsey, Northern Ireland, Orkney, Scottish Highlands and Shetland. Shipping costs for these ares will be calculated at checkout.

International/Export – Delivery charges will be calculated at checkout. All orders that are in stock we aim to dispatch from our warehouse within 48 hours. We ship all orders outside of the UK, NI, Isle of Man, Channel Islands via Fedex. All prices and delivery charges are exclusive of VAT for export. The customer is responsible to pay for any additional duties and charges.
