The Solid State Logic ORIGIN EVO is the evolution of SSL’s modern analogue console concept, building on the proven ORIGIN platform and pushing it further with enhanced dynamics, refined routing, and deeper tonal control. Designed as the centrepiece of a professional hybrid studio, ORIGIN EVO delivers the unmistakable punch, clarity, and musical authority that SSL consoles are known for, while remaining flexible enough to integrate seamlessly with contemporary DAW-based workflows.

At the front of every channel sits SSL’s PureDrive mic preamp, offering up to 70 dB of gain and a continuously variable drive control that moves from ultra-clean transparency into rich, harmonically complex saturation. This allows engineers to choose between pristine capture or deliberate analogue character at the very first stage of the signal path, making ORIGIN EVO equally at home tracking delicate vocals or driving drums, guitars, and synths with confidence.

Each channel features classic SSL E-Series dynamics, including compressor, expander, and gate, delivering fast, punchy control that has defined countless records. Paired with the iconic E-Series “Black Knob” four-band EQ and high- and low-pass filters, ORIGIN EVO provides precise yet musical shaping tools that encourage bold decisions during tracking and mixing rather than endless tweaking later.

The in-line architecture makes ORIGIN EVO exceptionally efficient for both recording and mixing, with comprehensive routing, insert points, and direct outputs on every path. The centre section houses an enhanced SSL Bus Compressor, perfect for adding cohesion and weight to mixes, alongside flexible monitoring and summing options. DAW control integration allows ORIGIN EVO to function as a true hybrid console, blending hands-on analogue workflow with modern production requirements.

UK Mainland – Orders over £99 qualify for FREE standard shipping (1-3 working days) We also offer a range of chargeable express shipping options for next working day, pre 12pm, pre 10.30am, Saturday deliveries and deliveries on a specific date. Our main UK courier is DPD.

UK Non Mainland – Not eligible for free shipping. These areas include (but are not limited to) Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Isles of Scilly, Jersey, Guernsey, Northern Ireland, Orkney, Scottish Highlands and Shetland. Shipping costs for these ares will be calculated at checkout.

International/Export – Delivery charges will be calculated at checkout. All orders that are in stock we aim to dispatch from our warehouse within 48 hours. We ship all orders outside of the UK, NI, Isle of Man, Channel Islands via Fedex. All prices and delivery charges are exclusive of VAT for export. The customer is responsible to pay for any additional duties and charges.
