The Royer dBooster (R-DB20) is a high-quality in-line signal booster engineered to elevate the performance of passive ribbon and dynamic microphones. Designed for studio, stage, and broadcast environments, the dBooster provides clean, transparent gain without coloring your sound or compromising mic character.

With switchable gain settings of 12dB and 20dB, the dBooster adapts seamlessly to various applications — from subtle vocal lifts to driving long cable runs in demanding live setups. At its core is a pure Class A input stage that minimizes mic loading, preserves transient detail, and enhances headroom, ensuring that even the most delicate sources remain articulate and full of character.

The dBooster is powered by standard 48V phantom power but protects your mic by isolating it from phantom current, making it especially safe for sensitive ribbon mics. It’s also capable of driving complex loads, including mic splitters and vintage-style transformer preamps, without introducing distortion or loss.

Whether you’re working with a classic ribbon in the studio or a dynamic workhorse on stage, the dBooster is an essential tool for achieving optimal signal levels with exceptional clarity and fidelity.

UK Non Mainland – Not eligible for free shipping. These areas include (but are not limited to) Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Isles of Scilly, Jersey, Guernsey, Northern Ireland, Orkney, Scottish Highlands and Shetland. Shipping costs for these ares will be calculated at checkout.

International/Export – Delivery charges will be calculated at checkout. All orders that are in stock we aim to dispatch from our warehouse within 48 hours. We ship all orders outside of the UK, NI, Isle of Man, Channel Islands via Fedex. All prices and delivery charges are exclusive of VAT for export. The customer is responsible to pay for any additional duties and charges.
