RME’s reference AD/DA converter is a host of devices all put together into one unit, with a simple and mostly automated way of using it right out of the box. A unit with the industry’s biggest footprint per feature ratio, excellent tech specs, crystal clear and transparent sound signature, and two extremely powerful headphone outputs. The new ADI-2 Pro FS R Black Edition features the AK4493 chip, slightly improved specs and comes with the new extended Multi-Remote Control (MRC).
The ADI-2 Pro FS Black Edition is one of the most versatile converters on the market and integrates several devices in a single unit: a high-end AD/DA converter with SteadyClock FS Femto-Clock in professional studio quality, a dual headphone amplifier, a multi-format converter (AES, SPDIF, ADAT) with monitoring capability, a DSD recording and playback converter as well as an AD/DA frontend for audio measurements, mastering and hi-fi applications with up to 768 kHz sampling frequency..
The ADI-2 Pro FS Black Edition features the AK4493, the DAC chip of the RME ADI-2 DAC, which significantly reduces the THD and increases the signal-to-noise ratio by 3 dB during digital-to-analogue conversion.
RME`s unrivalled circuit design also provides 2.5 dB of analogue headroom as well as digital headroom up to +4 dBFS, ensuring that even high intersample peaks don`t cause audible distortion
Just like the RME ADI-2 DAC, the ADI-2 Pro FS Black Edition offers comprehensive IR remote control. It includes RME`s new Multi-Remote-Control, which perfectly matches the functionality of both DAC and Pro. In addition to dedicated buttons for standby, volume, mute, balance, bass/treble, input selection and more, it features seven assignable buttons for flexible access to 52 different features and commands. Optionally remote controls like the Logitech Harmony series or specific programmable IR transceivers can also be used.
UK Mainland – Orders over £99 qualify for FREE standard shipping (1-3 working days) We also offer a range of chargeable express shipping options for next working day, pre 12pm, pre 10.30am, Saturday deliveries and deliveries on a specific date. Our main UK courier is DPD.
UK Non Mainland – Not eligible for free shipping. These areas include (but are not limited to) Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Isles of Scilly, Jersey, Guernsey, Northern Ireland, Orkney, Scottish Highlands and Shetland. Shipping costs for these ares will be calculated at checkout.
International/Export – Delivery charges will be calculated at checkout. All orders that are in stock we aim to dispatch from our warehouse within 48 hours. We ship all orders outside of the UK, NI, Isle of Man, Channel Islands via Fedex. All prices and delivery charges are exclusive of VAT for export. The customer is responsible to pay for any additional duties and charges.
