The Neve 88R LBEQ brings the unmistakable sound and behaviour of the flagship 88RS console EQ into a single-slot 500-series module, delivering true large-format precision in a compact, modern format. Designed and hand-built in England, this is not an approximation or reinterpretation – it is genuine 88RS equalisation, distilled for today’s hybrid workflows.

At its core, the 88R LBEQ uses the same analogue EQ topology that has made the 88RS console a reference standard in world-class studios. The result is an equaliser that feels immediately familiar to experienced engineers: open, musical, and remarkably precise, with exceptionally low phase shift and vast headroom. Whether you’re shaping individual sources or refining complex mixes, the response remains smooth, controlled, and effortlessly musical.

The four fully parametric bands provide an extraordinary level of tonal control. With extensive frequency overlap, adjustable Q, and ±20 dB of gain per band, the 88R LBEQ moves seamlessly from subtle tone enhancement to detailed corrective work. The low band offers authoritative control over weight and impact, with bell and shelving options that allow anything from solid low-end reinforcement to tight, focused clean-up. The low-mid band excels at shaping body and warmth, making it easy to enhance musicality or remove unwanted congestion with precision.

In the upper registers, the high-mid band brings clarity and presence exactly where the ear is most sensitive, allowing vocals, guitars, and percussive elements to sit forward without harshness. The high band completes the picture with controlled air and polish, offering bell and shelving modes that add openness and sheen while remaining smooth and natural, even at higher boosts.

Used on its own or combined with the 88R LB preamp and 88R LBC compressor, the 88R LBEQ allows engineers to build a fully authentic 88RS signal chain within a 500-series chassis. UK Mainland – Orders over £99 qualify for FREE standard shipping (1-3 working days) We also offer a range of chargeable express shipping options for next working day, pre 12pm, pre 10.30am, Saturday deliveries and deliveries on a specific date. Our main UK courier is DPD.

UK Non Mainland – Not eligible for free shipping. These areas include (but are not limited to) Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Isles of Scilly, Jersey, Guernsey, Northern Ireland, Orkney, Scottish Highlands and Shetland. Shipping costs for these ares will be calculated at checkout.

International/Export – Delivery charges will be calculated at checkout. All orders that are in stock we aim to dispatch from our warehouse within 48 hours. We ship all orders outside of the UK, NI, Isle of Man, Channel Islands via Fedex. All prices and delivery charges are exclusive of VAT for export. The customer is responsible to pay for any additional duties and charges.
