The MOTU 848 is a powerful 28-input, 32-output audio interface designed for professional studios and demanding production environments. Housed in a rugged 1U rackmount chassis, it combines pristine ESS Sabre32 Ultra DAC conversion with MOTU’s renowned low-latency performance, ensuring exceptional sound quality and reliability at every stage of the workflow.

At its core, the 848 offers four high-quality mic/line/Hi-Z combo inputs with preamps, pads, and phantom power, along with a wide selection of balanced line inputs and outputs, dual headphone outs, and optical ADAT connectivity. Its comprehensive I/O allows seamless integration of multiple instruments, outboard processors, and monitor setups.

Connectivity is state-of-the-art, with Thunderbolt 4 and USB4 support for sub-2 ms round-trip latency, plus AVB/TSN Ethernet networking to expand systems with additional interfaces across long distances. MOTU’s powerful DSP engine delivers a full 64-channel mixer with 32 busses and onboard effects, including EQ, compression, gating, and reverb — ideal for monitoring, live setups, and hybrid workflows without taxing the host computer.

A high-resolution 3.9-inch full-colour display provides detailed metering of every input and output, while front-panel controls offer immediate access to gain, pad, phantom power, and monitoring functions. Combined with the CueMix software for remote control, the MOTU 848 is as flexible as it is powerful.

UK Mainland – Orders over £99 qualify for FREE standard shipping (1-3 working days) We also offer a range of chargeable express shipping options for next working day, pre 12pm, pre 10.30am, Saturday deliveries and deliveries on a specific date. Our main UK courier is DPD.

UK Non Mainland – Not eligible for free shipping. These areas include (but are not limited to) Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Isles of Scilly, Jersey, Guernsey, Northern Ireland, Orkney, Scottish Highlands and Shetland. Shipping costs for these ares will be calculated at checkout.

International/Export – Delivery charges will be calculated at checkout. All orders that are in stock we aim to dispatch from our warehouse within 48 hours. We ship all orders outside of the UK, NI, Isle of Man, Channel Islands via Fedex. All prices and delivery charges are exclusive of VAT for export. The customer is responsible to pay for any additional duties and charges.
