The M 92.1 S is characterised by a high transmission factor and thus a high noise level. It has the warm, full sound typical of tubular microphones, which is particularly preferred by singers and instrumentalists.
The M 92.1 S tube microphone is suitable both for difficult tasks of radio play production as well as for use as a supporting microphone for orchestral recordings.
The tried and tested pressure gradient receiver of the M 92.1 S works with two large-area, gold-coated plastic membranes.
The tube amplifier is equipped with a triode operating as a triode, which is selected for its acoustic behaviour.
The power supply N 920.1 supplies the operating voltage to the tube microphone. It can be operated with mains voltages of 115 or 230 V / 50 Hz or 60 Hz.
For cable lengths of approx. 50 m, it is advisable to have the heating voltage set to 5.8 V, measured at the microphone, by your service workshop in the mains connection.
The N 920.1 is equipped with the on / off switch
