Introducing the Model 2032 Microphone Preamplifier / Parametric Equalizer: a versatile single-channel solution for studio and remote recording. Combining the renowned 8300 preamp and 8200 equalizer, this unit inherits over three decades of GML engineering excellence, delivering reliability, precision, and musicality.
• Flexible Gain Range: The Model 2032 offers gain settings from 10dB to 75dB, accommodating a wide range of input signals, from hot microphones to low-level sources often overlooked by other devices. This design surpasses the capabilities of the specialized Model 8300 mic preamp.
• Multiple Inputs: Alongside standard microphone inputs, the Model 2032 includes MI inputs and even supports "line" sources needing 10dB gain or more. This versatility makes it suitable for various studio setups.
• Transparent High-Pass Filter: A transparent high-pass filter provides three settings: 40Hz roll-off, flat response, or 100Hz roll-off. Designed for clarity, this filter maintains the Model 2032`s flat frequency response in all settings.
• Precision Parametric EQ: The EQ section, derived from the Model 8200 Parametric Equalizer, allows for precise shaping of sources. Multiple user-defined bands control gain, frequency, and "Q" factor, offering exceptional precision and flexibility.
• Built-in Power Supply: For the first time in GML history, the Model 2032 includes an internal power supply, striking a balance between noise performance and space-saving design.
• Premium Components: The unit features top-quality components meticulously selected for superior performance, resulting in a powerful, flexible, and transparent processor.
• Outstanding Dynamic Range: The Model 2032 maintains low-noise, high headroom, and transparent operation in all signal conditions, while the equalizer section enables adding 15dB of gain across multiple frequency bands without distortion or loss of detail.
Discover the Model 2032`s exceptional performance, achieved through its discrete component design and advanced engineering, setting new standards in audio quality and versatility.
