The Genelec 1236A SAM system and its individually calibrated Remote Amplifier Module RAM XL are designed to achieve extreme performance requirements for the most demanding recording and mixing environments. Designed to flush-mounting, the 1236A features a very large Directivity Control Waveguide (DCW) providing extremely precise on- and off-axis imaging and neutral sound reproduction. State-of-the art AutoCal and GLM technologies allows to automatically align every monitor to the acoustic environment and to different listening positions.

The 1236A is the highest reference and the most modern solution in main monitoring for music recording studios, film and video post-production facilities.

Features

Directivity Control Waveguide provides a wide controlled listening area, minimising early reflections for very accurate sound reproduction on-axis and off-axis.

The RAM-XL features high-efficiency Class D amplifiers providing high SPL, high dynamic range, low distortion, and high reliability.

Quality electronic design and precision DSP algorithms ensure high dynamic range and extremely low self-generated noise.

Thoughtful thermal design makes RAM-XL extremely silent when installed in the listening space.

Dual woofer design extends directivity control to low frequencies.

Genelec AutoCal measures the response in the listening area and applies relevant compensation in the low and low-mid frequencies to minimize the detrimental room acoustic anomalies as well as the differences between various listening positions.

UK Non Mainland – Not eligible for free shipping. These areas include (but are not limited to) Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Isles of Scilly, Jersey, Guernsey, Northern Ireland, Orkney, Scottish Highlands and Shetland. Shipping costs for these ares will be calculated at checkout.

International/Export – Delivery charges will be calculated at checkout. All orders that are in stock we aim to dispatch from our warehouse within 48 hours. We ship all orders outside of the UK, NI, Isle of Man, Channel Islands via Fedex. All prices and delivery charges are exclusive of VAT for export. The customer is responsible to pay for any additional duties and charges.
