UTOPIA MAIN 212 is the ultimate studio monitor. With two brand new 5`` midranges, a brand-new Beryllium tweeter and patented remote amplification, it is the dual-driver configuration of the UTOPIA MAIN 112 and embodies the best of the Focal Professional division. Innovative drivers, top-of-the-range cabinet design, power and exceptional precision; UM 212 ensures an unparalleled monitoring experience for reference-recording, mixing and mastering.

The UTOPIA MAIN range is a technological triumph, inheriting over forty years of Focal know-how and twenty years of innovation in the design of studio monitors. In development since 2017, this exceptional product takes sound and music production to new heights, delivering a high level of detail, even at high SPL.

PATENTED DRIVERS
Focal`s unique 5" midrange drivers with an ‘M’ profile offer unrivalled dynamic range and transparency. These high-end transducers are synonymous with absolute precision in all musical registers. The 1.5" Beryllium tweeter reproduces exceptional transients without causing hearing fatigue. Damping Hook System (DHS) technology has been integrated into this tweeter for the first time, halving THD at 3 kHz.

The UTOPIA MAIN studio monitors are the result of the cutting-edge work of our passionate engineers, but also of the renowned sound professionals who have tested them. This feedback from the field has helped to refine the performance of this exceptional range.

EXCEPTIONAL SUBWOOFERS
The long-excursion 13’ subwoofers and large cross-section ports provide impressive subwoofer extension, with precision even at high sound levels. The bass is even more powerful thanks to the special design of the cabinet made of MDF and reinforced by a bracing network it eliminates any cabinet warping.

UNIQUE EXTERNAL AMPLIFICATION
The patented amplifiers of the UTOPIA MAIN 112 and UTOPIA MAIN 212 use a combination of a Class H design with a current-mode amplification. Developed by Focal, these electronics offer the most natural and transparent amplification possible for loudspeakers. Combined with analogue filtering, it achieves the lowest level of harmonic distortion (THD) ever measured in an anechoic chamber.

UK Mainland – Orders over £99 qualify for FREE standard shipping (1-3 working days) We also offer a range of chargeable express shipping options for next working day, pre 12pm, pre 10.30am, Saturday deliveries and deliveries on a specific date. Our main UK courier is DPD.

UK Non Mainland – Not eligible for free shipping. These areas include (but are not limited to) Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Isles of Scilly, Jersey, Guernsey, Northern Ireland, Orkney, Scottish Highlands and Shetland. Shipping costs for these ares will be calculated at checkout.

International/Export – Delivery charges will be calculated at checkout. All orders that are in stock we aim to dispatch from our warehouse within 48 hours. We ship all orders outside of the UK, NI, Isle of Man, Channel Islands via Fedex. All prices and delivery charges are exclusive of VAT for export. The customer is responsible to pay for any additional duties and charges.
