ELEVEN Ratio: The New Standard
The ELEVEN ratio replaces the old GP Ratio, closely emulating the iconic UREI 1176LN setting. With its unique 20:1 ratio, slow attack, and fast release, ELEVEN retains dynamics while shaping the sound, perfect for vocals, bass, guitars, and more.

Revolutionary Design Process
The development of the ELEVEN ratio was a complex journey, involving meticulous experimentation and attack modifications. The result captures the essence of the 1176 setting, enhancing its sonic qualities.

Seamless Compatibility
All older "Fatso Jr." units can be easily upgraded to the new ELEVEN ratio. Fatsos shipped since June 2013 already feature the EL7-X circuitry equivalent to the ELEVEN ratio.

Enhanced Logic and Interface
The new FATSO introduces improved interface operation, ensuring smoother user experience. Holding buttons triggers backward stepping for quicker parameter adjustments. The Stereo Link feature is more intuitive, allowing for linked compression control across channels.

Four Processing Types

The FATSO offers four processing modes:
• Harmonic Generation and Soft Clipper: Gently rounds peaks like saturated tubes or tape.
• High-Frequency Saturation (Warmth): Softens excessive high frequencies.
• Transformer & Tape Head Emulation: Recreates the harmonics of input/output transformers and analog tape.
• Classic Knee Compression: Empirical Labs` signature smooth yet impactful compression.

UK Mainland – Orders over £99 qualify for FREE standard shipping (1-3 working days) We also offer a range of chargeable express shipping options for next working day, pre 12pm, pre 10.30am, Saturday deliveries and deliveries on a specific date. Our main UK courier is DPD.

UK Non Mainland – Not eligible for free shipping. These areas include (but are not limited to) Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Isles of Scilly, Jersey, Guernsey, Northern Ireland, Orkney, Scottish Highlands and Shetland. Shipping costs for these ares will be calculated at checkout.

International/Export – Delivery charges will be calculated at checkout. All orders that are in stock we aim to dispatch from our warehouse within 48 hours. We ship all orders outside of the UK, NI, Isle of Man, Channel Islands via Fedex. All prices and delivery charges are exclusive of VAT for export. The customer is responsible to pay for any additional duties and charges.
