The Barefoot Sound Footprint®01 Second Generation (Gen2) is a complete reinvention of one of Barefoot’s most acclaimed monitors, redesigned from the inside out for even greater power, accuracy, and sonic integrity. Where the original Footprint®01 set the standard for compact, high-performance monitoring, the Gen2 pushes beyond with newly developed drivers, advanced DSP, and a re-engineered cabinet—all working together to deliver exceptional detail and authority.

This next-generation model introduces a fully tri-amplified 3-way system with Class D amplifiers dedicated to each driver: 60W for the 1" dual-ring radiator tweeter, 150W for the 5" aluminum midrange, and 500W for the dual 8" woofers. Together, they produce an extended frequency range from 36Hz to 40kHz, with seamless crossover transitions at 170Hz and 3600Hz. The result is massive headroom, ultra-low distortion, and uncompromising clarity across the spectrum.

At the heart of the design are custom Barefoot drivers: a refined dual-ring radiator tweeter for crisp transient response, a precision 5" aluminum cone midrange for vocal and instrumental accuracy, and dual 8" woofers using Barefoot’s Dual-Force™ Technology, which couples them into the cabinet for vibration cancellation and structural reinforcement. This delivers powerful, distortion-free bass reaching down to 30Hz while maintaining balance and tightness.

Driving the Gen2’s sonic improvements is Barefoot’s patented SPOC™ (SPectrally Optimized Conversion) technology. By placing analog crossover filtering before digital conversion, SPOC preserves high-frequency detail, improves signal-to-noise ratio by 15 dB, enhances transient response, and reduces latency. Coupled with the latest DSP engine, this system ensures pristine clarity, accurate imaging, and consistent translation across any studio environment—including immersive and multichannel setups.

The sealed cabinet has also been refined for the Gen2, with increased internal volume, optimized bracing, and enhanced damping. Built from rigid MDF with a machined aluminum baffle, the enclosure minimizes resonance while ensuring clean low-end performance. A textured gray finish completes the modern, professional aesthetic.

The Footprint®01 Gen2 also incorporates Barefoot’s MEME™ Technology (Multi Emphasis Monitor Emulation), giving you instant access to multiple speaker voicings—from Hi-Fi playback to Old School cubes—so you can hear exactly how your mix will translate outside the studio.

As the largest and most powerful model in the Footprint series, the Footprint®01 Gen2 reclaims its position as the flagship of the lineup. UK Mainland – Orders over £99 qualify for FREE standard shipping (1-3 working days) We also offer a range of chargeable express shipping options for next working day, pre 12pm, pre 10.30am, Saturday deliveries and deliveries on a specific date. Our main UK courier is DPD.

UK Non Mainland – Not eligible for free shipping. These areas include (but are not limited to) Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Isles of Scilly, Jersey, Guernsey, Northern Ireland, Orkney, Scottish Highlands and Shetland. Shipping costs for these ares will be calculated at checkout.

International/Export – Delivery charges will be calculated at checkout. All orders that are in stock we aim to dispatch from our warehouse within 48 hours. We ship all orders outside of the UK, NI, Isle of Man, Channel Islands via Fedex. All prices and delivery charges are exclusive of VAT for export. The customer is responsible to pay for any additional duties and charges.
