Cloudlifter CL-4 Mic Activator is based on Cloud`s award-winning Cloudlifter technology that converts phantom power into an additional +25 dB of ultra-clean gain for low output dynamic and ribbon mics. Cloudlifters solve problems posed by noisy preamps and can be used to drive stronger, cleaner signals over long XLR cable runs. The single rack space CL-4 is simple and compact, featuring four rear-mounted sets of balanced XLR inputs and outputs and is ideal for broadcast, live sound, public address, and professional studio applications.
Cloudlifters dramatically improve the performance of passive microphone signals by driving stronger, cleaner signals over long XLR cable runs and providing significant ultra-clean gain, before the mixer or preamp. This allows the microphone’s preamp to operate using much lower gain settings, resulting in significantly reduced noise and improved clarity. The CL-4 is enclosed in a rugged rack-mount enclosure offering excellent shielding and durability.
Using patent pending technology that keeps the direct audio path free-and- clear of transformers, capacitors, and resistors, the CL-4 houses Class A, Discrete JFET circuitry that delivers world class, ultra-clean gain while preserving the natural sonic characteristics of the source.
Please note: the CL4 is designed for use with passive ribbon and dynamic microphones only. Any microphone that requires phantom power, i.e. condenser or active microphones will not work with the CL4.
UK Mainland – Orders over £99 qualify for FREE standard shipping (1-3 working days) We also offer a range of chargeable express shipping options for next working day, pre 12pm, pre 10.30am, Saturday deliveries and deliveries on a specific date. Our main UK courier is DPD.
UK Non Mainland – Not eligible for free shipping. These areas include (but are not limited to) Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Isles of Scilly, Jersey, Guernsey, Northern Ireland, Orkney, Scottish Highlands and Shetland. Shipping costs for these ares will be calculated at checkout.
International/Export – Delivery charges will be calculated at checkout. All orders that are in stock we aim to dispatch from our warehouse within 48 hours. We ship all orders outside of the UK, NI, Isle of Man, Channel Islands via Fedex. All prices and delivery charges are exclusive of VAT for export. The customer is responsible to pay for any additional duties and charges.
