The Chord Electronics Hugo 2 represents the pinnacle of portable high-fidelity audio. Built around a sophisticated FPGA architecture with a powerful multi-tap Watt Transient Aligned (WTA) filter, Hugo 2 delivers unmatched clarity, dynamics, and timing—all in a beautifully machined aircraft-grade aluminum chassis available in sleek silver or satin black.

Connectivity is flawless: plug in via HD USB (supporting PCM up to 768 kHz and DSD512), optical, coaxial, or extended-range aptX Bluetooth. Analog outputs include stereo RCA line-level, plus both 3.5 mm and 6.35 mm headphone jacks. Four selectable digital filters let you tailor the sound from incisively neutral to warmer, smoother transitions. The sought-after crossfeed mode—with three levels—emulates speaker-like spatial imaging for fatigue-free listening over headphones.

Powered by dual rechargeable batteries, the Hugo 2 serves beautifully as a standalone portable DAC/headphone amp or as a desktop centerpiece—complete with remote control and a vibrant viewing window that indicates sampling rate through changing colors.

UK Mainland – Orders over £99 qualify for FREE standard shipping (1-3 working days) We also offer a range of chargeable express shipping options for next working day, pre 12pm, pre 10.30am, Saturday deliveries and deliveries on a specific date. Our main UK courier is DPD.

UK Non Mainland – Not eligible for free shipping. These areas include (but are not limited to) Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Isles of Scilly, Jersey, Guernsey, Northern Ireland, Orkney, Scottish Highlands and Shetland. Shipping costs for these ares will be calculated at checkout.

International/Export – Delivery charges will be calculated at checkout. All orders that are in stock we aim to dispatch from our warehouse within 48 hours. We ship all orders outside of the UK, NI, Isle of Man, Channel Islands via Fedex. All prices and delivery charges are exclusive of VAT for export. The customer is responsible to pay for any additional duties and charges.
