The Barefoot Sound Footprint®02 Second Generation (Gen2) brings flagship monitoring performance into a more compact and accessible form. Building on the success of the original Footprint®02, the Gen2 model introduces upgraded drivers, enhanced DSP, and refined cabinet acoustics—delivering deeper lows, sharper midrange clarity, and effortless high-frequency detail.

At its heart, the Footprint®02 Gen2 is a fully tri-amplified 3-way system. Each driver is powered by dedicated Class D amplification: 60W for the 1” dual-ring radiator tweeter, 150W for the 5” aluminum cone midrange, and 200W for the dual 6.5” Dual-Force™ woofers. Together, they provide smooth, natural crossover transitions at 180Hz and 3700Hz, with a powerful low-end extension reaching down to 38Hz.

The Gen2 debuts Barefoot’s SPOC™ (SPectrally Optimized Conversion) technology, which places analog filtering ahead of digital conversion. This design boosts the signal-to-noise ratio, improves transient response, and reduces latency, resulting in remarkable imaging and mix translation. A new low-latency DSP engine further optimises accuracy, delivering consistent results across any studio environment.

Like all Barefoot monitors, the Footprint®02 Gen2 features a sealed cabinet design for tight, controlled bass. The reinforced MDF enclosure with machined aluminum baffle and full acoustic damping ensures a rigid, resonance-free structure, finished in Barefoot’s signature textured gray.

For real-world flexibility, Barefoot’s MEME™ (Multi Emphasis Monitor Emulation) technology lets you instantly switch between reference modes—Hi-Fi, Old School, Cube, and Flat—making it easy to check how your mix will translate across consumer playback systems.

UK Mainland – Orders over £99 qualify for FREE standard shipping (1-3 working days) We also offer a range of chargeable express shipping options for next working day, pre 12pm, pre 10.30am, Saturday deliveries and deliveries on a specific date. Our main UK courier is DPD.

UK Non Mainland – Not eligible for free shipping. These areas include (but are not limited to) Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Isles of Scilly, Jersey, Guernsey, Northern Ireland, Orkney, Scottish Highlands and Shetland. Shipping costs for these ares will be calculated at checkout.

International/Export – Delivery charges will be calculated at checkout. All orders that are in stock we aim to dispatch from our warehouse within 48 hours. We ship all orders outside of the UK, NI, Isle of Man, Channel Islands via Fedex. All prices and delivery charges are exclusive of VAT for export. The customer is responsible to pay for any additional duties and charges.
