The 8-inch long-throw driver and Advanced Transmission Line are designed to deliver low-frequency extension with definition. Listen for the pitch and decay of a bass note, judge the space beneath a kick and identify low-frequency energy that smaller monitors may not reveal.

02 / SYSTEM INTEGRATION

An extension of your reference.

For a PMC 6 XBD system, pair one PMC 8 Sub with each main monitor. Dedicated XBD processing integrates the cabinets into a three-way system and extends the low end to 25 Hz. For conventional stereo or immersive systems, use the sub’s filtering, level, delay and polarity controls to align it with the rest of the installation.

03 / SOUNDALIGN & CONNECTIVITY

Set up for your room.

Adjust level, EQ, delay and polarity from the rear-panel controls or SoundAlign in a web browser over a wired network. Analogue and AES3 inputs support different studio signal paths; the digital through output makes onward connection straightforward. Boundary and parametric EQ give you tools to refine the response once the speakers are correctly positioned.
