Product overview

McDSP SA-3 Spectral Processor v7 is a spectral processor. Reduce sharp resonances and persistent overtones with more than 1,000 processing bands. SA-3 develops the approach of SA-2 into a detailed spectral tool for dialogue, vocals, instruments and mixes that need controlled frequency-selective attenuation.

Guide the processing

Draw a Bias Curve to direct the response, then refine it with Focus, Range and Density controls. Monitor the removed signal, use an external sidechain, or switch the stereo instance to mid/side operation for more selective treatment.

Compatibility and licence

This is the Native v7 edition for macOS and Windows, supplied as a digital software licence. Formats: AAX Native, AU and VST3.

An iLok account is required. Two activations are provided, with iLok 2/3 USB and iLok Cloud options; current v7 installers also support machine-based activation. Use version 7.3.0 or later for machine activation.
