Product overview

The Zoom VRH-8 adds ambisonic recording to the H8, opening up a way to capture the sound field around the recorder for immersive productions. It is useful for environmental sound, virtual-reality content and recordings where the listening perspective will be developed later.

The four-microphone array works with onboard decoding and orientation sensing to support the spatial workflow. This is a Capsule System 2.0 accessory for the H8, rather than a standalone recorder. The H8 is supplied separately.
