Product overview

The Zoom EXH-8 expands the H8 with four additional XLR microphone inputs, making it useful when a band, panel or other session grows beyond the recorder's built-in connections. Each added input has its own level control and pad, so different sources can be managed individually.

An external power source enables phantom power for condenser microphones connected to the module. The EXH-8 uses Zoom's Capsule System 2.0 and is designed for the H8; it is not an interchangeable upgrade for every Zoom recorder. Recorder and power source are sold separately.
