Zahl EQ1

The Zahl EQ1 Stereo Equaliser is a highly detailed parametric stereo equaliser occupying only two spaces in a 500 series rack. Each channel is equipped with a true bypass button, frequency selection and output trim/gain.

The HI band ranges from 2 kHz all the way up to 20 kHz with the option of being a shelf or bell curve EQ.

The Hi-Mid channel ranges from 600 Hz up to 6 kHz, engaging the button above the Q on this channel will change the shape of the EQ curve. LO-MID ranges from 200 Hz to 2 kHz, same as the high mid channel. Engaging the button above the Q on this channel will change the shape of the EQ curve.

The LO channel functions the same as the Hi channel, ranging from 30 Hz up to 300 Hz with the option of a shelf or bell curve EQ. Engaging the LO-CUT gives you a high-pass filter ranging from 25 Hz to 250 Hz.

The EQ GAIN button will expand the trim or gain of each EQ channel by 5 dB or 15 dB. I/O gain will boost the overall signal level either on the Input or Output of the EQ1 by 5 dB or 15 dB.

A true bypass switch will remove the EQ1 from the signal path entirely. The small O/L Signal LED allows you to keep an eye on a proper audio level into your DAW or Tape Machine.
