The WesAudio ng500 Recording & Mixing Bundle combines seven processing modules in the TITAN chassis. Each system is configured, assembled and tested at the factory, with dedicated plug-ins bringing the hardware into your DAW workflow.

01 / 2 × _PHOEBE

Class A tone from the first stage.

The two PHOEBE preamps handle microphones, line sources and instruments. Their British-inspired dual-amp design pairs Carnhill input and output transformers with up to 75 dB of microphone gain and +28 dBu headroom. Switchable input impedance, phantom power, polarity inversion and a recallable output pad give you practical control over both level and character.

02 / 2 × _MIMAS

Fast FET compression, twice over.

Two MIMAS modules bring 1176-style compression to individual sources. Choose 4:1, 8:1, 12:1 or 20:1 ratios, or explore All Buttons In for a more assertive response. Carnhill transformers and a dedicated saturation mode add further colour, while hardware A/B switching makes it easy to compare settings. Each module’s analogue processing can be recalled and automated from its plug-in.

03 / _RHEA

A smooth foundation for the mix.

RHEA adds true stereo vari-mu compression with valve gain reduction and interstage Carnhill transformers. Use its Mix control for parallel compression, explore the THD settings for additional harmonic character, and select a 60, 90 or 150 Hz sidechain filter to influence how the compressor reacts to low frequencies.

04 / _DIONE

Bring the elements together.

DIONE supplies stereo VCA bus compression for stems and the mix bus. Its 1.5:1, 2:1, 4:1 and 10:1 ratios cover gentle cohesion through to firmer control. Parallel blending, THD options and sidechain filtering give you several ways to find the right balance of movement, punch and density.

05 / _PROMETHEUS

Broad strokes of analogue tone.

PROMETHEUS brings a Pultec-style passive inductor EQ to the system. Separate boost and cut controls encourage musical low-end shaping and high-frequency lift, while adjustable harmonic colour and +24 dBu headroom provide scope for both subtle balancing and stronger tonal changes.

Work in stereo, dual mono or Mid/Side to shape the whole mix, treat channels independently or adjust the relationship between the centre and sides. Save the settings with your session so you can return to the same starting point.

06 / _TITAN · THE SYSTEM AT THE CENTRE

Keep the sound. Recall the session.

TITAN houses and powers the modules in a 10-slot chassis with an external linear power supply. One USB or Ethernet control connection gives your computer access to the ng500 modules, with dedicated VST2, VST3, AU and AAX plug-ins for remote control, session recall and automation.

Turn a front-panel control when you want hands-on adjustment, or work from the plug-in when you want to stay at the listening position. The preamplification, EQ and compression take place in analogue circuitry; software keeps track of the settings.

Plan your analogue connections.

Connect the rack’s analogue inputs and outputs to your audio interface or patchbay, using suitable I/O and cabling for the recording and mixing paths you want to build. USB or Ethernet provides control and recall; the audio travels through the analogue connections.

This bundle includes the TITAN chassis and power supply. An audio interface and audio cabling are required separately; CALYPSO AD/DA conversion is not part of this configuration.
