The Teenage Engineering EP-2350 Ting is a handheld performance microphone with voice effects and sample triggering built into the body. It gives a vocalist or performer direct control over the sound before it reaches the rest of the system, making it useful for dub-style interjections, characterful spoken parts and spontaneous changes during a live set.

Play the voice as part of the track

Four voice-effect modes provide different directions for a performance: echoes, a combination of echo and spring-style processing, a higher characterful voice and a robotic treatment. Adjust the effect parameters as you perform, using the tactile controls to make a phrase move or change character. The deliberately lo-fi approach makes Ting a creative sound source rather than a neutral studio vocal microphone.

Four replaceable samples give your hands another role during the set. Trigger accents or short phrases directly from the microphone, combining them with the live voice to add variation without reaching for a separate controller. This is especially useful in a small setup where the performer is also managing the arrangement.

Connect to RIDDIM or another suitable system

The 3.5mm curly cable provides a line output for connection to the EP-40 RIDDIM or another suitable line-level input. Check the destination's input requirements and use appropriate cabling when connecting to a larger mixer or sound system. Two AAA batteries or USB-C provide power, keeping the microphone useful for portable sessions as well as a fixed performance rig.

This listing is for the EP-2350 Ting version associated with RIDDIM. It is distinct from the later K.O. II-themed EP-2350 FX-MIC. The EP-40 and shoulder bag are sold separately.
