A closer listen

A refined headphone for the way you work.

Horizon One is the next generation of closed-back monitoring in the Steven Slate Audio VSX range. Its 50 mm dynamic drivers are designed for exceptionally low distortion, giving you a clean, detailed view of a recording, whether you are producing, mixing or mastering.

The closed-back design provides isolation for tracking, shared spaces and late-night sessions. Paired with VSX speaker modelling, it lets you hear your work through different listening environments from the same position.

01 / DRIVERS

50 mm dynamic drivers

Designed for low distortion and a revealing presentation, helping you listen into balance, detail and texture.

02 / CONSTRUCTION

Aluminium and maple

A high-grade aluminium chassis and figured maple wood earcups give Horizon One a solid, carefully finished feel.

03 / COMFORT

Leather over-ear earpads

A circumaural fit surrounds the ear, with premium leather earpads and a padded headband for longer sessions.

The materials matter

Made to feel as good as it sounds.

The dark figured maple earcups bring natural texture to a clean, understated design. Aluminium supports the structure, while the padded headband and leather earpads keep the listening experience comfortable.

Horizon One is the closed-back companion to the open-back Immersion One. Choose the design that suits your space and the way you prefer to monitor.

Keep the software you know

Upgrade the headphones. Keep your library.

This edition is exclusively for current VSX users. Connect Horizon One and continue working with the VSX Essentials or Platinum software you already own. Your existing licence determines the rooms and models available to you.

No new VSX software licence is included. If you are new to VSX, choose the Horizon One Essentials or Platinum Edition instead.

Included with this limited loyalty offer

Take a different reference with you.

You also receive a licence for the MSX Speaker Modeling System for AirPods Pro, bringing speaker modelling to a convenient on-the-go listening setup.

MSX requires Apple AirPods Pro, generation 1, 2 or 3. AirPods Pro are not included. This MSX licence is separate from VSX and does not replace the existing VSX licence required for the Horizon One loyalty offer.

Practical connections

Connect. Listen. Get back to the session.

The detachable straight Y cable terminates in a 3.5 mm plug, with a ¼-inch adapter included for studio headphone outputs. Its approximately 1.9 m length gives you useful reach around a desk without a permanently attached cable.

A softshell carrying case protects the headphones between sessions. The headphones carry a two-year manufacturer warranty.
