The Steven Slate Audio RAVEN MAX CORE Station brings the scale and hands-on workflow of a large-format console to the modern studio. Combining two 27-inch RAVEN MTi MAX multitouch displays with the purpose-built CORE Station workstation, it creates an expansive production environment in which your DAW, plug-ins and most frequently used commands are placed directly beneath your fingertips.

Instead of adjusting one parameter at a time with a mouse, RAVEN lets you reach out and work with multiple controls simultaneously. Balance tracks using responsive 100mm virtual faders, ride several channels at once, adjust plug-ins directly on screen and move naturally between editing, recording and mixing.

With two high-resolution displays positioned side by side, the RAVEN MAX CORE Station provides considerably more room for large sessions, detailed plug-in control and custom command layouts. It is an ideal centrepiece for professional recording studios, mix rooms and production facilities looking for an integrated, streamlined alternative to a conventional control surface.

RAVEN 4.0 Control Software

RAVEN 4.0 transforms your DAW into a fast and highly configurable multitouch workspace. Its redesigned interface provides precise control over faders, pans, mutes, solos, sends, automation and plug-in inserts, with up to 32 virtual faders visible on each display.

Fine Fader mode allows adjustments in increments as small as 0.1dB, giving you the accuracy needed for detailed balance and automation work.

Natural Multitouch Control

RAVEN’s Smart Gestures allow familiar movements to control everyday production tasks. Open and close plug-ins, mute multiple tracks, navigate sessions, zoom, scroll and edit audio or MIDI without continually returning to a keyboard and mouse.

Software plug-ins can also be operated directly by touch, making virtual faders, knobs and switches feel far more immediate and intuitive.

Automate Repetitive Tasks with Batch Commander

Batch Commander allows complex sequences of mouse clicks, keyboard shortcuts and menu selections to be recorded and assigned to a single button or gesture. Create headphone mixes, load plug-in chains, name groups of tracks, export stems or automate repetitive editing processes in seconds.

A comprehensive collection of commands for supported DAWs is included, while custom commands and layouts can be created around your own studio workflow.

A Purpose-Built Studio Workstation

The CORE Station desk has been designed specifically around the RAVEN system. Its modular construction, padded armrest and integrated cable management create a clean and comfortable working position, while a concealed accessory shelf provides space for laptops, drives and USB hubs.

A dedicated recess is provided for the optional Slate Control monitor controller. A blanking panel is included when Slate Control is not installed.
