SPL TDX 500 Series (Ex Demo)

This listing is for an ex-demo SPL TDx Transient Designer. Its analogue circuitry lets you adjust how a sound begins and how long it hangs in the mix, with a dry/wet blend for anything from subtle enhancement to pronounced reshaping.

Two controls. A different feel.

Attack increases or softens the initial hit by up to 15dB. Sustain extends or shortens the decay by up to 24dB. Use them together to add definition to percussion, tighten a bass part or change the balance between a drum hit and its room sound.

Processing that follows the performance

SPL's Differential Envelope Technology tracks the signal's envelope to provide level-independent dynamics processing. You can focus on the character of each hit without setting a conventional compressor threshold.

Blend the result

The Mix control continuously blends the processed and original signals, making parallel processing available directly on the module. Output attenuation helps manage the level feeding the next device, while the On/Bypass switch makes comparisons quick.

Built for your 500-series rack

The mono TDx occupies one slot in a compatible powered 500-series chassis, using the rack's connections for balanced audio input and output. The signal LED provides a simple check that audio is reaching the module.
