Product overview

Soundtoys PhaseMistress 5

From a gentle swirl to a moving focal point.

PhaseMistress combines familiar analogue phasing with deep control over the effect's structure and movement. Give guitar and keys a smooth sweep, add motion to percussion, or build a more pronounced effect around the rhythm of the track.

Sound and workflow

What it brings to your session.

Choose the character

Explore 69 style presets and structures ranging from two to 24 stages, then adjust resonance, colour and intensity.

Go beyond a simple sweep

LFO, rhythm, step and random behaviour provide different ways to move the phase response. Draw custom curves and rhythmic patterns when presets are only a starting point.

Respond to the performance

Envelope and trigger modes follow the incoming audio, making the phase movement react to playing dynamics instead of running at a fixed pace.
