Product overview

Soundtoys EchoBoy 5.2

Choose the echo, then make it groove.

EchoBoy combines a wide range of delay characters with timing controls that help repeats feel part of the performance. Its 30 styles cover tape, analogue and other vintage-inspired textures, from a short vocal echo to detailed stereo patterns.

Sound and workflow

What it brings to your session.

A broad palette of delay tones

Choose a style, then refine saturation, wobble and diffusion. The Studio Tape character draws on the Ampex ATR-102.

Timing beyond the grid

Tempo sync sets the basic rhythm; Groove, Feel and Accent adjust how the repeats sit around the beat.

Simple echoes or complex patterns

Single, Dual and Ping-Pong modes cover familiar setups. Rhythm Echo offers up to 16 taps for more elaborate repeating phrases.
