The Rupert Neve Designs Portico II Master Buss Processor Plug-in brings the dynamics, tonal character and stereo control of the original hardware into your DAW. Developed with McDSP, it combines compression, limiting, Silk saturation and stereo field adjustment for shaping complete mixes, stems and individual tracks.

Shape the dynamics and stereo image

Choose Peak or RMS detection and feed-forward or feedback compression to suit the material. A variable sidechain high-pass filter helps control how low frequencies drive the compressor, while the blend control supports parallel processing. Dual Mono, Stereo and Mid/Side modes give you different ways to manage a mix.

Add character and space

Silk Red and Blue offer contrasting harmonic colours, with Texture adjusting their intensity. The Stereo Field Editor provides width and depth controls with frequency-selective adjustment. True Mid/Side operation extends the hardware concept with independent processing of the centre and sides.

Compatibility and licence

Supplied as a digitally delivered software licence. Supports AAX Native, AU and VST3 hosts, including Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Cubase, Ableton Live, Reaper and Studio One. Runs natively on Intel and Apple silicon. An iLok account is required, with activation to a compatible iLok 2/3 USB key, a local computer or iLok Cloud. Two activations are included per licence. A USB iLok is not included.

RND lists macOS 10.13 through macOS 26 and Windows 10/11 support. Check the current installer availability and your DAW requirements before purchase.
