Add one PMC 8-2 Sub per monitor for a PMC 6-2 XBD system. The dedicated DSP setting integrates the cabinets, extends the response from 33 Hz to 25 Hz and increases bass headroom.

The middle of the mix, resolved.

The PMC55 2-inch soft-dome midrange and its N-compass waveguide work with a separate 1-inch tweeter. That dedicated mid band helps expose vocal balance, guitar texture and compression changes, while broad dispersion gives the stereo image room to breathe.

03 / SOUNDALIGN & CONNECTIVITY

Set up for your room.

Adjust level, EQ, delay and polarity from the rear-panel controls or SoundAlign in a web browser over a wired network. Analogue and AES3 inputs support different studio signal paths; the digital through output makes onward connection straightforward. Boundary and parametric EQ give you tools to refine the response once the speakers are correctly positioned.

04 / YOUR XBD CONFIGURATION

Two cabinets. One reference.

Feed the audio signal into the PMC 6-2, then connect its AES3 digital through output to the PMC 8-2 Sub. Link the cabinets over the network and select XBD mode. Their DSP settings coordinate the crossover and the cabinets appear as one system in SoundAlign.
