Modal COBALT8M is an eight-voice virtual-analogue synthesiser in a desktop and rack-mount module format. Build rounded basses, bright leads and spacious polyphonic patches with an extended virtual-analogue engine. Oscillator algorithms take familiar waveforms into more complex territory, while morphable and static filters provide detailed control over their character.
Use your preferred MIDI keyboard or sequencer and keep the sound engine within easy reach. Included rack ears support 19-inch, 3U mounting; allow space above the unit for connections.
A polyphonic sequencer, parameter animation and programmable arpeggiator support evolving patterns. Three stereo effects engines complete the sound, and MODALapp provides computer, mobile and plug-in editing.
