Product overview

McDSP Retro Pack v7 is a plug-in bundle. Retro Pack combines equalisation, compression and limiting in three original McDSP designs. The collection is built around vintage-inspired responses and a shared approach to output-stage colour, making it useful for adding character throughout a mix.

A collection for the whole session

Shape the spectrum with 4020, blend parallel compression with 4030, then contain peaks with 4040. Use the processors separately or together on drums, vocals, instruments and stereo buses.

Included plug-ins

4020 Retro EQ
4030 Retro Compressor
4040 Retro Limiter

Compatibility and licence

Choose the edition for your workflow. Native supports AAX Native, AU and VST3. HD includes those formats and adds AAX DSP support for compatible Pro Tools hardware. Both editions run on macOS and Windows and are supplied as digital software licences.

An iLok account is required. Two activations are provided, with iLok 2/3 USB and iLok Cloud options; current v7 installers also support machine-based activation. Use version 7.3.0 or later for machine activation.
