Product overview

McDSP NF575 Noise Filter v7 is a noise-filtering processor. Remove unwanted frequency content with dedicated high-pass, low-pass and notch filters. NF575 is useful for narrowing down rumble, hiss, hum and tonal interference while retaining control over how much of the surrounding audio is affected.

Target hum and its harmonics

Five notch bands can be linked harmonically to address a fundamental noise frequency and its overtones. Adjustable cut depth and bandwidth let you refine the treatment, while selectable high/low-pass slopes range from gentle to steep.

Compatibility and licence

Choose the edition for your workflow. Native supports AAX Native, AU and VST3. HD includes those formats and adds AAX DSP support for compatible Pro Tools hardware. Both editions run on macOS and Windows and are supplied as digital software licences.

An iLok account is required. Two activations are provided, with iLok 2/3 USB and iLok Cloud options; current v7 installers also support machine-based activation. Use version 7.3.0 or later for machine activation.
