Product overview

McDSP MC2000 Multi-Band Compressor v7 is a multiband compressor suite. Control dynamics by frequency region with MC2000’s two-, three- and four-band configurations. The suite combines adjustable crossovers with flexible compressor behaviour, letting you manage uneven energy in vocals, instruments and buses.

Keep the transient response under control

Knee and BITE controls shape each compressor’s response, with multiple detector types available. Band linking makes coordinated adjustments easier, while separate band processing allows different parts of the spectrum to receive the treatment they need.

Compatibility and licence

Choose the edition for your workflow. Native supports AAX Native, AU and VST3. HD includes those formats and adds AAX DSP support for compatible Pro Tools hardware. Both editions run on macOS and Windows and are supplied as digital software licences.

An iLok account is required. Two activations are provided, with iLok 2/3 USB and iLok Cloud options; current v7 installers also support machine-based activation. Use version 7.3.0 or later for machine activation.
