Product overview

McDSP CompressorBank v7 is a compressor suite. Create a wide range of dynamics responses with CompressorBank. Alongside threshold and ratio, its Knee and BITE controls reshape the compression curve and transient response, making it useful for both natural levelling and more deliberate character.

Shape the detector and the sound

Multiple peak-detection approaches help you explore vintage- and modern-style behaviour. Pre-filtering, sidechain options and post-compression EQ offer further control, so you can adjust what causes compression as well as the tone that comes out.

Compatibility and licence

Choose the edition for your workflow. Native supports AAX Native, AU and VST3. HD includes those formats and adds AAX DSP support for compatible Pro Tools hardware. Both editions run on macOS and Windows and are supplied as digital software licences.

An iLok account is required. Two activations are provided, with iLok 2/3 USB and iLok Cloud options; current v7 installers also support machine-based activation. Use version 7.3.0 or later for machine activation.
