Product overview

McDSP Channel G v7 is a channel strip suite. Bring a console-style workflow to mixing with Channel G’s EQ, dynamics and filtering. The suite provides G Dynamics, G Equalizer and G Console configurations, with calibration modes inspired by large-format desks and workflows for music and post-production.

A complete channel-processing toolkit

Shape tone with five-band EQ, control levels with compression and limiting, and manage low-level signals with an expander/gate. Switch dynamics before or after the EQ and use sidechain routing to tailor the response to the source.

Compatibility and licence

Choose the edition for your workflow. Native supports AAX Native, AU and VST3. HD includes those formats and adds AAX DSP support for compatible Pro Tools hardware. Both editions run on macOS and Windows and are supplied as digital software licences.

An iLok account is required. Two activations are provided, with iLok 2/3 USB and iLok Cloud options; current v7 installers also support machine-based activation. Use version 7.3.0 or later for machine activation.
