Product overview

McDSP Channel G Surround v7 is a 5.1 dynamics processor. Control a 5.1 mix with compression and limiting organised into four channel groups. Channel G Surround treats LR, centre, surround LR and LFE separately, giving post-production mixers precise control over the balance and movement of a surround programme.

Link or separate the surround channels

Trigger a compressor from combinations of channel groups and link selected controls where a coordinated response is needed. An optional 24 dB/octave low-pass filter is available for the LFE channel. This edition is specifically for 5.1 AAX workflows.

Compatibility and licence

This is the HD v7 edition for macOS and Windows, supplied as a digital software licence. Formats: AAX DSP, AAX Native.

An iLok account is required. Two activations are provided, with iLok 2/3 USB and iLok Cloud options; current v7 installers also support machine-based activation. Use version 7.3.0 or later for machine activation.
