Product overview

McDSP Channel G Compact v7 is a compact channel strip. Channel G Compact brings console-inspired EQ and compression into an efficient, focused interface. It offers calibration choices for music and post-production, with the sonic approach of Channel G in a smaller processing footprint.

Fast tonal and dynamics control

Four-band EQ sits alongside high-pass and low-pass filters and a compressor/limiter. Choose feed-forward or feedback compression, explore 11 knee curves and move dynamics before or after the EQ to change how the sections interact.

Compatibility and licence

Choose the edition for your workflow. Native supports AAX Native, AU and VST3. HD includes those formats and adds AAX DSP support for compatible Pro Tools hardware. Both editions run on macOS and Windows and are supplied as digital software licences.

An iLok account is required. Two activations are provided, with iLok 2/3 USB and iLok Cloud options; current v7 installers also support machine-based activation. Use version 7.3.0 or later for machine activation.
