Product overview

McDSP Analog Channel v7 is an analogue saturation processor. Add the response of channel amplifiers and tape to a digital session. Analog Channel combines two complementary processors: AC101 for preamp-style saturation and AC202 for tape-machine character, suitable for individual tracks and mix buses.

Tune the analogue behaviour

AC101 offers drive and adjustable saturation timing. AC202 adds tape bias, speed and equalisation controls, with independent low-frequency roll-off and head-bump adjustment so you can shape the low end without relying on a single tape setting.

Compatibility and licence

Choose the edition for your workflow. Native supports AAX Native, AU and VST3. HD includes those formats and adds AAX DSP support for compatible Pro Tools hardware. Both editions run on macOS and Windows and are supplied as digital software licences.

An iLok account is required. Two activations are provided, with iLok 2/3 USB and iLok Cloud options; current v7 installers also support machine-based activation. Use version 7.3.0 or later for machine activation.
