Product overview

McDSP AE600 Active EQ v7 is a dynamic equaliser. AE600 combines six fully overlapping fixed and active EQ bands for detailed tonal work. Each section has independent frequency, gain, bandwidth and mode controls, giving you static shaping and responsive correction within the same interface.

Flexible curves for changing material

Choose from 13 EQ and filter shapes, including proportional-Q, Baxandall and vintage-inspired responses. Trigger active processing from the track or a sidechain to contain resonances, shape a drum bus or create frequency space around a vocal.

Compatibility and licence

Choose the edition for your workflow. Native supports AAX Native, AU and VST3. HD includes those formats and adds AAX DSP support for compatible Pro Tools hardware. Both editions run on macOS and Windows and are supplied as digital software licences.

An iLok account is required. Two activations are provided, with iLok 2/3 USB and iLok Cloud options; current v7 installers also support machine-based activation. Use version 7.3.0 or later for machine activation.
