McDSP 6050 Ultimate Channel Strip v7 is a modular channel strip. Build a processing chain around the sound in front of you. The 6050 combines more than 25 EQ, compression, gating, expansion, saturation and filtering modules in three interchangeable bays, covering corrective work and creative tone shaping.

Build and compare a signal chain

Drag modules into position and audition alternatives without losing the relative settings. The collection includes designs drawn from the 6020 and 6030, alongside additional processing choices, with input/output controls and sidechain support for flexible session use.

Compatibility and licence

Choose the edition for your workflow. Native supports AAX Native, AU and VST3. HD includes those formats and adds AAX DSP support for compatible Pro Tools hardware. Both editions run on macOS and Windows and are supplied as digital software licences.

An iLok account is required. Two activations are provided, with iLok 2/3 USB and iLok Cloud options; current v7 installers also support machine-based activation. Use version 7.3.0 or later for machine activation.
