Product overview

McDSP 6030 Ultimate Compressor v7 is a compressor collection. Choose a compression character to suit the performance with ten modules in one interface. The 6030 covers gentle levelling, assertive transient control and more coloured compression, making it a versatile choice for vocals, drums and instrument groups.

Compare compression characters

Switch between McDSP’s original designs to explore different responses without building a long chain of processors. Sidechain support adds control over what drives the compression, while mono and stereo versions fit individual tracks and buses.

Compatibility and licence

Choose the edition for your workflow. Native supports AAX Native, AU and VST3. HD includes those formats and adds AAX DSP support for compatible Pro Tools hardware. Both editions run on macOS and Windows and are supplied as digital software licences.

An iLok account is required. Two activations are provided, with iLok 2/3 USB and iLok Cloud options; current v7 installers also support machine-based activation. Use version 7.3.0 or later for machine activation.
