The Lauten Audio LS-408 Snare Mic is a compact end-address condenser designed to capture a snare’s attack, body and detail. Its 32 mm capsule combines a cardioid pattern with high sound-pressure handling for close drum placement.

Separate high-pass and low-pass switches help control low-frequency spill and cymbal brightness before recording. The compact brass headframe and articulated mounting arrangement make it easier to place the microphone around crowded drum hardware.
