This coaxial approach helps the midrange and treble behave as a highly coherent point source, giving the monitor exceptionally stable imaging, strong centre focus and a wide, reliable listening area. Whether used vertically or horizontally, the 8380A is designed to deliver neutral, uncoloured clarity that allows critical mix decisions to translate with confidence.

The 15-inch woofer provides the physical scale and low-frequency extension expected from a main monitor, reaching down to 29 Hz at -6 dB while maintaining the speed and control needed for accurate professional work. With high SPL capability and dedicated amplification for each driver, the 8380A can reproduce detail, dynamics and low-end weight without strain, making it suitable for medium and large control rooms where smaller nearfields may not provide enough scale or headroom.

As a SAM monitor, the 8380A integrates with Genelec GLM software for room calibration, level alignment, delay compensation and system management.
