Created with Third Man Hardware and Jack White, Knife Drop combines aggressive fuzz, octave weight and a monophonic synth voice. Blend the ingredients for a thicker riff, a jagged lead or a sound that pushes beyond conventional guitar distortion.

Shape the attack as well as the tone

A resonant low-pass filter can sit before or after the distortion, changing how the sound bites and develops. Adjust filter attack, cutoff and resonance, then use the Octave footswitch to bring another register into the performance. Five Jack White presets provide immediate starting points.

For experimental guitar and bass parts, synth textures and sound-design sessions. Instrument/line switching, stereo connections and expression or MIDI control let it work within a pedalboard or a studio effects chain.
