Eventide H9000R Gen2

The H9000 Gen2 takes Eventide’s most powerful Harmonizer ever and elevates it with a suite of hardware and performance upgrades. The new Gen2 architecture introduces improved A/D and D/A converters for even greater clarity and depth, refined internal clocking for lowered jitter, increased analogue headroom, and a faster, more responsive UI. These enhancements bring noticeable improvements in transparency, stereo imaging and overall system stability — making the H9000 Gen2 the best-sounding and most reliable version to date.

At its core, the H9000 Gen2 still delivers the immense processing power the platform is known for: four quad-core ARM processors providing sixteen DSP engines, capable of running multiple complex effect chains at once. With more than 1,600 algorithms — including iconic Eventide reverbs, delays, pitch-shifters and advanced spectral processors — the H9000 Gen2 is a creative powerhouse for mixing, mastering, post-production and sound design.

Connectivity is equally comprehensive. The upgraded converters feed a wide range of analogue and digital I/O, including DB25 analogue, stereo XLR, USB audio, AES/EBU, ADAT and S/PDIF. Optional expansion cards add Dante, MADI or Pro Tools HDX, giving you up to 128 channels of simultaneous processing for multitrack and immersive workflows.

Control has also been refined. The Gen2’s smoother interface and updated OS make navigation quicker and more immediate, while the Emote software (standalone or plug-in) provides deep control, DAW automation, session recall and a full virtual patchbay. With MIDI, USB controllers, CV, footswitch inputs and relay outputs, the H9000 Gen2 integrates beautifully into both studio environments and live performance rigs.
